The ECO Rain® Root Zone Irrigation Mat has proved itself worldwide with simple irrigation and installation even in projects that are considered extremely difficult with regards to irrigation. With our test site in Abu Dhabi (UAE) we were able to demonstrate the outstanding attributes of the ECO Rain® Root Zone Irrigation Mat.
  • Installation in April 2007
  • Regular monitoring of irrigation times and results
  • Root development of 25 cm depth within 6 weeks
  • Proven water saving of 45 % compared to the conventional irrigation system (sprinkler) which was installed in parallel (after initial basic settings of the system)
  • Due to the very positive result of the irrigation, the irrigation times are reduced further so that a water saving of approx. 60 % is to be expected.
